Work alongside local health providers to support initiatives aimed at improving public health in local hospitals in Zanzibar. ZIVO works closely with the local community to ensure every volunteer placement creates a meaningful, longlasting impact.

Duties

Support nurses and doctors with daily patient care
Assist in health education and awareness sessions
Help organize community health outreach camps
Monitor patient wellbeing and report observations
Support administrative tasks within the clinic

Requirements

Background in healthcare or nursing is encouraged but not required
A fluent level of English
Minimal age of 18+
Compassion and a respectful attitude towards patients
